- What is the membership term for the Advisory Committees?
- Members will serve from January 2026 through June 30, 2027 and are eligible to reapply for additional terms.
- Following the completion of the 2026-2027 term, the committees will revert to a 12-month term, beginning July 1, 2027 through June 30, 2028.
- When is the 2026-2027 Committees application period?
- The application period for 2026-2027 Committees is open from November 19, 2025 until December 19, 2025.
- How often does a committee meet?
- The Advisory Committee must meet quarterly.
- The Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee must meet twice a year.
- Where are meetings held?
- Some meetings will be held at EXIM headquarters in Washington, DC while others will be held virtually. In-person meetings will have a hybrid option for members unable to travel.
- Does EXIM cover travel costs for in-person meetings?
- Yes, EXIM covers domestic travel costs including transportation to Washington, DC, lodging, and per diem.
- Are members compensated for their service?
- No, committee members serve on a voluntary basis.
