Brian Benko serves as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) where he supports the Chairman and senior officials in advancing the agency's strategic priorities across critical minerals financing, energy infrastructure, multilateral frameworks, and international economics. In addition to his staff leadership role, he oversees EXIM's global public affairs strategy.

Before EXIM, Benko served on the U.S. House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, where he led messaging on U.S.–China economic relations, technology competition, and national security policy. His work supported bipartisan legislation and the Committee's engagement with financial institutions, Fortune 100 companies, and key U.S. allies.

Earlier in his career, Benko served on the political campaigns of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and United States Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Florida State University and is pursuing an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
