Export-Import Bank of the U.S. Chair Lewis Leading Delegation to GITEX Global Technology Conference in Dubai
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis will travel to Dubai to speak at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) Global Conference next week. GITEX Global is the largest tech show in the world with 187,000 visitors from 180 countries and 6,000 exhibitors, including 236 company exhibitors from the United States. Chair Lewis will participate in speaking engagements to share how EXIM is investing in key export areas including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and critical minerals under EXIM’s China and Transformational Exports Program (CTEP).
Throughout her time in Dubai, Chair Lewis will meet with industry and government leaders including U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Martina Strong, to learn how the U.S. can further support and foster our relationship with the United Arab Emirates. Through these meetings with high-level officials and industry leaders, Chair Lewis will share how EXIM meets its mandates by supporting American jobs through facilitating exports.
