READOUT: Export-Import Bank of the United States Chair Reta Jo Lewis Meets with Argentinian Ambassador Jorge Argüello
WASHINGTON – President and Chair of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) Reta Jo Lewis today met with Ambassador of Argentina to the United States Jorge Argüello and other senior officials for a bilateral discussion following the recent Summit of the Americas and G7 Leaders’ Summit.
Ambassador Argüello welcomed the opportunity to engage with Chair Lewis and EXIM on potential opportunities for collaborations that advance shared goals in energy security and critical minerals.
Chair Lewis highlighted EXIM’s China and Transformational Exports Program and reinforced her commitment to supporting President Biden’s new Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment. She also emphasized the importance of working with global partners to strengthen trade and economic security through economic competitiveness.
