Cleveland, Ohio – Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) First Vice President and Vice Chair Judith Pryor, a native of Cleveland, will travel to the state Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 15 to meet with prospective and current EXIM customers to highlight how EXIM financing, can help Ohio businesses grow through exporting. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Vice Chair Pryor will provide remarks during a fireside chat at the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. Vice Chair Pryor will share how EXIM’s suite of programs, including the China and Transformational Exports Program (CTEP) and the flagship Make More in America Initiative has supported Ohio jobs through exports while shoring up American supply chains.

On Thursday, November 14, Vice Chair Pryor will address students and faculty at her alma mater, Bowling Green State University, to share how EXIM achieves its mission of support American jobs through exports. 

Vice Chair Pryor will conclude her visit on Friday, November 15 with a factory tour of Ohio-based exporter and EXIM customer, First Solar, which began exporting solar panels to Guatemala in 2021. During the visit to their Perrysburg factory, Vice Chair Pryor will learn how EXIM support has helped First Solar increase the export of their goods, create jobs and compete globally.
