Washington, D.C. – Today, as part of its 2025 Annual Conference, the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) awarded J. Maxime Roy, Inc. its Broker of the Year award in recognition of its unwavering dedication to promoting EXIM products as a solution for small business clients.

Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, J. Maxime Roy has, for the past 30 years, operated a specialty trade credit and political risk insurance brokerage firm. As a small business, the firm currently assists nearly 60 EXIM exporters and operates in nearly 20 states, earning EXIM’s Platinum-tiered broker status, the highest attainable at the Bank.

“The team at J. Maxime Roy has been a key factor to EXIM’s continued overall success, working to provide its clients and other exporter partners with the knowledge of EXIM financing solutions,” said Acting President and Chairman James Cruse. “This sustained commitment to identifying innovative ways to reach more exporters is why EXIM remains immensely grateful for their hard work and has sought to recognize their efforts with this year’s award.”

“EXIM has been an invaluable resource for our clients, helping them to expand overseas sales and bank financing,” said Warren Bares, President. “As a result, many of these companies have hired more American workers to support their increasing overseas sales.”
