Washington, D.C.–Beginning Thursday, June 6, the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) will host its 2024 Annual Conference at the Washington Hilton. The two-day, in-person event will feature leaders in business, finance, government, policy, and media, and will highlight the critical role EXIM plays in reshoring the domestic supply chain and championing U.S. jobs. The agency will also be celebrating its 90-year anniversary, commemorating EXIM’s ongoing efforts to advance its mission.

“We are less than a week away from this year’s conference and could not be more excited for the incredible program we have in store for attendees,” said EXIM President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis. “This year’s conference will showcase the thoughts and perspectives of industry and government leaders as we all work together to navigate an increasingly competitive global export landscape. We have something for everyone – from networking opportunities for small businesses to get the necessary information needed to grow overseas to engaging panels spotlighting critical topics in key sectors.”

This year’s theme is “Honoring Legacy, Charting Tomorrow,” and will feature discussions around clean and renewable energy, critical minerals, advancing American competitiveness through transformational exports and EXIM’s flagship domestic financing initiative, Make More in America.

Speakers at this year’s conference include Governor of Maryland Wes Moore and former Ohio Senator and member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Rob Portman. The conference will also see attendance from industry leaders such as Ian Brzezinski, Senior Fellow, Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security of the Atlantic Council, Regina Gwynn, Co-Founder of Black Women Talk Tech, Anna Palmer, Founder and CEO of Punchbowl News, and Nicholas Rémillard, President and CEO of the International Forum of the Americas.

With wide participation from the banking, insurance, and international finance communities, the conference will highlight the importance of U.S. manufacturing, economic security through exports, women leaders in international trade, and supporting American small business.
