Washington, DC – The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) this week added to its electronic application platform, the EXIM Loan Management System (ELMS). This new application will be utilized for the agency's Credit Guarantee Facility (CGF) and Long-Term Direct Loan or Guarantee programs. This new application form is now available for submission.

"I am pleased to have added yet another tool to EXIM’s ELMS,” said EXIM President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis. “As we continue our work to support American exporters, providing the necessary tools that streamline our systems are critical to ensuring American businesses are globally competitive while enhancing the effectiveness of the EXIM team.”

ELMS was developed to enhance the agency's legacy Application Processing System (APS). ELMS also enables EXIM delegated authority lenders under the Working Capital Guarantee Program to create and submit applications online. Additionally, the new system will aid EXIM staff in processing applications more efficiently, ultimately rendering EXIM-backed CGF and long-term transactions operational in less time.
