EXIM Delegation Meets with Lithuania’s Ministry of Economy and Innovation
WASHINGTON –The Export-Import Bank of the United States’ (EXIM) delegation of senior officials, led by Christopher Van Es, Senior Vice President of Communications and External Engagement and Adam Frost, Senior Vice President of the China and Transformational Exports Program, joined Under Secretary of State Jose W. Fernandez yesterday in a meeting with Lithuania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, Aušrinė Armonaitė. The group discussed investment opportunities for American companies in Lithuania as well as implementation of the $600 million memorandum of understanding the two agencies signed in November. EXIM Bank officials shared their deep commitment to advancing Lithuanian prosperity through U.S. exports and pledged to work closely with Lithuanian officials and businesses in the months ahead.
The group discussed working together to finance renewable energy, cutting-edge technologies and healthcare equipment. They also exchanged several ideas for further partnerships to help educate both American companies doing business in Lithuania and Lithuanian companies searching for U.S. suppliers.
