Biography

By way of brief self-introduction, as Northern California Managing Partner at global law firm DLA Piper, I represent many industry-leading companies across various sectors on strategic business issues related to overseas investment and expansion.  I understand the critical importance of the EX-IM Bank and have worked to promote exports both as past Chair of the Northern California District Export Council and as an appointed member of the US Trade Representative’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee. Likewise, as a board member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, California Business Roundtable and the Bay Area Council, I have represented the California business community at international conferences and advised on how the state should maximize its effectiveness in the global economy. As trade and investment delegate to China, Mexico, India and Japan, I have served on the front line of strategic international deal making for the state of California.
