Biography

Camille J. Moore serves as the Senior Vice President (External Affairs) at the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE). Drawing inspiration from her Alabama roots and HBCU education, Camille is driven to actualize the American dream for her generation through the transformative potential of the energy sector. She believes it serves as a vehicle for restoring moral integrity and creating pathways to success, adding to AABE’s legacy by forging new partnerships and spearheading its federal funding initiatives. Camille has advocated for essential services such as water, wastewater, and energy before the U.S. Congress, representing both the industry and its workforce.

With a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz College, Camille is recognized as a thought leader and advocate. She has spoken at prestigious conferences and events, including the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and the Atlantik-Brücke Workshop on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Committed to driving positive change, Camille actively contributes to job creation, public education on incentives, and fostering partnerships for environmentally beneficial renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy storage exports.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Camille is deeply engaged in volunteer activities. She serves as a board member for SWEEP+ (Solid Waste Environmental Excellence Performance) and participates in the Atlantik-Brücke Young Leaders Program. Additionally, she takes pride in her affiliation with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute as a fellow, embodying her commitment to holistic environmental stewardship and community engagement. Camille has also obtained a certificate in built environment efficiency from the European Centre of Technology and wastewater management from the City of Prattville, Alabama.
