Grant Resources for Georgia Exporters
The STEP grant program has helped thousands of small businesses obtain grants and find customers in the international marketplace since 2011. Managed at the national level by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of International Trade, STEP provides financial awards to state and territory governments to assist small businesses with export development.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development will discuss how the STEP grant program offers eligible Georgia small and medium-sized businesses assistance in launching or expanding export activities. Grant funds are used to reimburse Georgia businesses for pre-approved, eligible export expenses. State eligibility is subject to change.
Additionally, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce will provide information about the Metro Export Challenge, a grant program which assists metro Atlanta companies in their global business development efforts.
