EXIM's Export Credit Insurance and Working Capital Guarantee Program features:
- Increase competitiveness by enabling open account credit terms, risk prevention, and generate cash flow
- Export credit insurance up to 95% coverage, and bulk Agricultural commodities can be considered up to 98% coverage
- Improve liquidity by providing access to pre-export working capital
USDA GSM-102 Program features:
- Provides 98% coverage against non-payment risk for agricultural commodities and food products
- Increases cash flow with the option to be paid upon shipment
- Letter of credit-driven program
- Improve buyer’s access to credit by offering up to an 18-month repayment term for banks issuing L/C
This program is a collaboration between EXIM, the Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington, the Washington State Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
